[BMp] reasons for low Boyce indexes

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if you tell me what makes Boyce indexes so low (ranging from 0.05 to 0.4? I have very few data points (10 to 20 per species), the time period is long and stretches from january to march (during the dry season in Burkina Faso), identifying species' habitat is difficult because they move a lot during the day....could all these explain my low Boyce indexes? Could anything else explain that?
