About 4 weeks ago someone dumped a very small kitten in my back yard. We caught the little guy and got him weaned and eatting dry food. He has more than doubled his size since we found him. He's litter trained, bathed, flea meds (saw no signs of fleas though), and a healthy happy guy. He appears to be about 8 weeks or so old. He's all black (short hair) and a happy playful kitten. We would keep him, but I have older cats and they are not adapting to having a kitten in their home. He loves to play with any balls, string, scratching pads and scratching cat trees.
I must find him a loving in door home for him ASAP! I don't want to take him to the pound, but if I don't find a approved home for him I will have no choice. He likes other cats, but I don't have dogs so I don't know about that.
If you can give him a forever indoor home, please reply with some info and we will set up a time for you to come meet him. We named him Taz, but he hasn't learned it, so you could rename him. You will need to get him all checked out by a vet and get him fixed and onto a monthly flea program, I use advantage with my cats (he is due for another dose any time now). I'm about 3 miles west of RDV in Maitland.
