American, British, and German spy intelligence on Syrian government troop movement has been shared with rebels to aid attacks on pro-Assad forces. British intelligence is covertly aiding antigovernment forces in Syria. David Cameron knows about and approves 100% of intelligence from the Cyprus military bases being passed to the troops of the rebel Free Syrian Army (FSA).
Shocking images reveal the desecration of many Christian churches in Syria by Western-backed rebels. A Free Syrian Army rebel poses in a stolen priest's robe while brandishing a looted cross in one hand and a machine gun in the other. Images show church pews broken apart, with pieces strewn all over. The floor is covered with rubble, and even the altar has been desecrated. http://venitism.blogspot.com
The UK owns two military bases on the island of Cyprus, one at Dhekelia and another at Akrotiri. The bases monitor regional airwaves and report to the GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters), Britain's national electronic surveillance center in Cheltenham.
Kleptocrats promote the elitist, racist, and war-causing Wilsonian doctrine of intervening abroad to impose democracy and Western culture on foreigners at the point of bayonets. Ron Paul points out that unfortunately, when presidents misuse our military on an unprecedented scale and Congress lets them get away with it the resulting stress causes military suicides to increase dramatically, both among active duty and retired service members. In fact, military deaths from suicide far outnumber
combat deaths. http://venitism.blogspot.com
The most valuable intelligence has been about the movements of troops loyal to Assad towards the city of Aleppo. The British monitor communications about movements of the government army and they got information about reinforcements being on their way to Aleppo. Rebels hit at the government troops in Idlib and Saraqib southwest of Aleppo, with success.
Ron Paul points out that many people have the misconception that sanctions are an effective means to encourage a change of behavior in another country without war. However, imposing sanctions and blockades are not only an act of war according to international law, they are most often the first step toward a real war starting with a bombing campaign. Sanctions were the first step in our wars against Iraq and Libya, and now more sanctions planned against Syria and Iran are leading down the same destructive path.
Rebels were given advance warning of two large columns of government troops advancing on Aleppo. One was from Latakia on the Mediterranean coast, and the other from the capital Damascus. Rebels ambushed troops and a column of more than 40 tanks in a valley near Saraqib. Rebels cut them off and destroyed many of them with repeat attacks with rocket-propelled grenades.
Germany is much more active in Syria than was previously believed. German spies, stationed on ships off the Syrian coast, are transmitting intelligence to the FSA to aid in their campaign against Assad.
Agents from Germany's Federal Intelligence Service (BND) are equipped with high-tech spy technology from Siemens, allowing them to observe troop movements as far inland as 600 kilometers. The spies pass their findings onto US and British officers, who then pass the intelligence along to the FSA. BND agents are currently operating at a NATO base in Adana, Turkey, where they eavesdrop on phone calls and radio traffic within Syria.
Christian minorities are facing a growing threat and thousands are being forced to flee their homes as they face harassment and discrimination from opposition radical Islamist factions. 12,000 Christians from the western Syrian city of Qusayr were forced to seek refuge after an ultimatum from a local military chief from the armed opposition. All mosques in the city have announced that Christians must leave Qusayr within six days. Attempts to evacuate Christians from Homs have been unsuccessful, as rebels want to keep the civilians inside to use them as bargaining chips and human shields.
Nevertheless, American intelligence operatives continue to step up their contacts with Syrian rebels to help organize their growing military operations against Assad's forces. CIA and the State Department are helping the Free Syrian Army develop logistical routes for moving supplies into Syria and providing training in communications. Saudi Arabia and Qatar have been paying salaries to the Syrian rebels. Turkey, which hosts some units of the Free Syrian Army, ensures material and technical support. As long as USA and its allies continue to blindly support the radical rebels, stability in Syria will remain unattainable. http://venitism.blogspot.com
