Maine, snowstorms, ice storms. Too cold for me! I'd rather Tennessee. We
are getting land in KY for our retirement/future.

Subject: [Homesteadingfamily] Tennessee or Maine?
Hello,
I wanted to know if anyone lives in Tennessee or Maine. My husband and I are
very interested in both places. The one thing that bothers us the most is
the natural disasters. I was reading that Tennessee can have up to 17
tornados in one year.
We are from NM and we have virtually no natural disasters here. We really
want somewhere that is a lot greener. We are trying to find land that has
trees, water and some open area for a garden. We also want a homeschool
friendly state since we homeschool our two boys. Any advice or
recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Julie
