The plain organic coconut oil WILL lend the coconut flavor to foods, but
the EXPELLER pressed versions do not.The expeller pressed has been
coconut coir deodorized, hence, no taste. I use both, for different
things, though.I put a teaspoon in the palm of my hands and let it melt
then use it on my skin after the shower....lends a nice coconutty smell
to the skin and is very luxurious! But, we mostly cook with the expeller
type.~deb
