The only geothermal I'm familiar with is in Iceland where they bury lines
deep in the ground for heat. That is way to expensive. As solar and wind
are very expensive to install. Transoms and ceiling fans are initially 1/8
the cost.

My aunt built a metal home, yes one of those kits on the tele, and hers was
paid off in a year. She loves hers. she built her house (well, we did on
weekends) as a box inside the 'shed' and insulation fills the between parts.

A house only falls in disrepair if it's not taken care of. I learned that
the hard way! J That is not always true, I've seen people live in mobile
shanty's while driving brand new F-10 pick-up trucks. They'll spend
thousands on their toys, but live in a hovel.

Yes, we call them Parishes in Loser-ana. We were divided into voting
sections by the Church. Oh, REMEMBER TO VOTE! If you don't vote, you have
no right to complain about them!

Hubby and I tape Jesse Ventura and he did a special on 2012. I saw the
first 15 min before I felt bad watching it w/o him. HE said he has proof
the US Govt is building tons of underground bunkers because they have
evidence it'll be a solar flare! There was more about it, but I have to
wait for his majesty! L

We're doing that now with the tools. We're purchasing one a month (shovel,
pick ax, etc) that we can use on land so we'll have it and not have to buy
them.

Hey, perhaps you can answer. I'd like to get extra handles for tools too,
if there were protected from elements, do you think they'd last? I'm
thinking they would; protected that is. I'd like to get fiberglass, but he
doesn't like the feel of it.
