[BMp] species distribution map

 

Hi,
I am having trouble booleanising my species distribution map.I do not have IDRISI so I started with my presence data in a table in excel with x, y, and weight. I saved the file as a tab-delimited text file. I set the first line as headers and the second line as extension type (*_BL). I uploaded the file to the Converter in Biomapper. The seemed to be correctly formatted when I checked it. I clicked "explore" and set the "info type" to boolean. It said that the conversion was complete. When I try to add the species map, no boolean maps are present, just .rst files and .rdc files. I tried to convert the maps to boolean again in the map manager and I got a message that said the map was booleanised, but I still could not find a _BL file or add what I had to biomapper. I am new at this so if I am missing something obvious, please tell me. I currently have DIVA GIS and QGIS at my disposal only.
