Researching this foundations shows they are recommending a meat based diet and are sponsored by guess who? Uninformed individuals need to know something about them so they aren't hood winked like people were by the Atkins situation.
What you get from agave depends on how it is processed. It is the product of a plant similar to ALOE, which most people also think is a cactus. It is 50% sweeter than sugar and there fore requires less to achieve the same sweetness. Actually, 20 calories per teaspoon.
Like all things, read the label, do your research and make your own informed decisions.
