Our local area has a few mobile slaughter trucks. They come, shoot, skin
and quarter the animals and then take them back to the butcher shop to be
hung/aged and then cut and packed. You go pick up your packages after a
week or so and have a nice freezer or two of meat =)
I dont see an animal being cut and wrapped in the middle of a field.
