[vernalpool] North of Boston very quiet

 

Stoneham, MA was very quiet last night. There were about a dozen spotties
in each of two pools that I check regularly, but I didn't see anyone
tramping over the 1/2-inch of snow that had accumulated by 8.30. Saw one
spottie crossing a road, and that was pretty much the end of that. Funny
spring here in the northeast!
