The rain ended early last night, but the roads were still wet with
temperatures in the mid-40s. Two of us crossed 4 spotties, 49 woodfrogs and
120 peepers from 9:40 - 10:45 pm. We counted dozens of dead frogs. On my
way home, I crossed another 4 woodfrogs, 1 spotted salamander, and 2
Jeffersons.
This was surely our first migration of the year in Keene, but I don't think
it will be our last!
