[vernalpool] Winding Down in Lexington?

Visited Minuteman vernal pool in Lexington last night. A few wood frogs and many peepers were calling. We did not see any salamanders (except one headless body--work of a raccoon?), or wood frogs, but counted 13 salamander egg masses and 2 wood frog egg masses. Seems like a lot fewer than previous years. We did see 2 giant bullfrogs and what looked like a leopard frog.

Emily Schadler and I are wondering when wood frogs stop calling. And if they are still calling, are they still breeding?
