I have used rubbing alcohol as well when the ring worm covers a large area.
When my brother moved in with us when he was 13 he had ring worm so bad and
so long that his whole body was covered! The doctor gave him oral
antibiotics which helped after about 6 wks. I also used rubbing alcohol on
him.... It helped to dry them out quicker (if you ever just have ONE ring
worm I use red finger nail polish and it kills them)

White iodine, it works wonderfully but do not bandage it on. Apply it and
allow
it to air dry severaltimes a day.

Subject: [Homesteadingfamily] human ringworm
Hi I have been dealing with ringworm for 6 weeks and nothing seems to be
working. When it first started I tried teetree oil but it didn't work. I
have
had 2 meds by 2 different doctors with no result it just gets worse or I
have a
reaction to the cream and pills. Can anyone think of something that might
work?
It is spreading from my hands and it's even hard to use my hands because now
I
have blisters to go along with the large round lessions. To get into a
specialist is 2-6month wait here. Any suggestion would be greatly
appreciated.
