My husband and sons made me a nice garden with 4 large raised beds this spring. Now I don't have to try and stuff different veggies in my herb garden. We are doing remodeling to the house which it needs. We try and do something every summer. My dad does it for us. Just putting in new windows makes a differences with how warm your house can stay. My husband has plans to build me a green house next. Not sure when but hopefully soon. Homesteading is a slow process with adding. It takes money so you do a little as you can but I can see changes here at our place already. I love hearing how others are doing with their homestead. Lisa in Va.
