Hi Eunice,
I love homemade gifts! Back once upon a time when I had little ones at home and didn't work we made most of our gifts. My favorites were always homemade personalized Christmas ornaments. You can use items purchased for dollhouses and really get creative. I would try to make an ornament that had a special meaning for each person, a particular memory or event from the year was the best. We also of course did warm pack (the ones you heat up in the microwave for your back, neck, etc...), hot plate holders with cinnamon and cloves...all kinds of great things.

Now that I work full time and also run a full time business my time less available and I have to cheat. This year for my employees I'm filling quart mason jars with homemade cookies wrapped in pretty foils and cellophane and topping with candies and chocolates.

I can't wait what others are doing!

Even though I'm not a full time homesteader, I try my best to be. Love the simple things in life, love primitives.

For those that will be giving Christmas (Holiday) gifts, do you make your gifts, If so, would you post some ideas. Home made gifts are the best.
