I had a blackberry jelly/jam that I did several years ago that once it boiled put it in sterilzed jars and put lid and ring on and said to leave on counter and wait for lids to pop and they were sealed! What process is that!!

Hot pack means that you put the food into the jar hot, and then straight
into the canner~ It says that right at the bottom~ Hot pack is when you
bring it to a boil first, THEN put it into the jars and canner, raw pack
would be if you left it cold, it means that it needs to process longer to
get to the correct temp~
I'm imagining that it is giving recommendations for a water bath canner,
but your best bet is to talk to your local extension service or consult
your ball blue book~
