[Homesteadingfamily] Re: canning question

 

Outdated Kind!!
Please always follow the current Recomendations for canning foods! I've tried the leave on the counter and let the lids pop, but I ended up with horrible mold!!! This is how my mom did it, and my Oma used wax! I remember her scraping the mold off... *ew*

Its not safe~ Just because people did it for years doesn't mean that its safe.
