I have nubians and alpines, they are both pretty laid back. They also are
both good for meat and milk. The nubians have more butterfat in their
milk. We had a couple of pygmy's for awhile but they were a pain always
trying to get out. We also have meat rabbits and chickens. We thought
about a guard dog or donkey for the goats, but settled on a llama. Good
luck on your adventure.
Best wishes and happy homesteading!
