Sounds like there won't be need for migration corridor if there's no pool to go to. And if there isn't another pool within traveling distance, then those adults will live out their lives lonely.

You are all addressing the dangers to the pool itself, but shouldn't the
disruption to the migration corridor for amphibians also be considered? I
don't know many herps that wouldn't be effected by having to crawl or jump
through an open gravel pit to get to their pool!
