[vernalpool] OT: author/naturalist in Somerville Sunday March 25th

 

For you urban nature lovers,

Hello Friends,

We'll be looking for urban nature in Somerville Sunday, including birds that use the garden as their home/migration/winter.

Join us Sunday March 25 at 1-2:30 for a walk/talk/sketch with local author, writer and naturalist Clare Walker Leslie at  the
Somerville Community Growing Center, 22 Vinal Ave

We will observe nature in the garden and do some sketching and talk about starting your own nature journal.

Clare's new book, The Nature Connection: An outdoor workbook for Kids, Families and Classrooms will be available for purchase. It is a great resource for parents and teachers.

Suitable for adults and teens.(no drawing experience necessary, just a love of the outdoors!)

*in case of pouring rain, meet at CHA School of Nursing, 125 Lowell Street, 1st floor conference room
