[vernalpool] Wood Frogs and Salamanders in Hollis, NH

 

The last two nights have been the loudest wood frog choruses that I have heard in our area over the past 11 years. We checked out one of the nearby pools and counted 12 spotted salamanders congressing on Sunday evening so it seems that the migration occurred with very little rain.
