[vernalpool] Gray Treefrog

 

Hi all,
My field ecology class and I had our first gray treefrog calling on
Wednesday. Our pools are at the corner of NY-VT-MA (Petersburgh, NY). We
had lots of spotted salamander egg masses, but many were high and dry in
one pool. There were no peepers, wood frogs, or American toads calling
Wednesday, but all of these have been heard and seen earlier.
