[vernalpool] Marbled Salamander activity in Attleboro, MA

 

For those who like to roll logs in the fall for Marbled Salamanders, just a quick note to mention that the season is officially underway in Massachusetts. The rain and humidity last night triggered some migratory movement in Attleboro, as we were able to find a gravid female on her way toward a forested wetland complex.
