In YOUR house you may not, but in others homes ammo is "wasted" in training,
practice and learning skills. I "wasted" lots of rounds learning to shoot
my .22. But I'm deadly now. I love a semi when turkey hunting. Ever miss
that first shot? You can get a 2nd and/or 3rd shot off in rapid succession.
I don't have the time or luxury to hunt for meat, I have to work.
YOU may not need one now, but who are they to tell me WHAT and I buy and HOW
many? 2nd Amendment is the right to keep and bear arms. It doesn't say how
many or what types.
It's a credit that you have never needed a gun to feel safe, but as someone
who's been on the wrong end of a pistol during a robbery (twice), I for one
carry and carry BIG! I train frequently, so that's a waste of bullets
there. I live outside of DC, no choice. Until land prices goes up we're
stuck here. Hubby's bought condo for 205K, parish assessed at 73K. CAN'T
leave.
